Trumans first photo shoot
I'm working on the birth story right now, so hang tight! But I have something else to present to you for now: professional in-hospital baby pictures! Our hospital offers this service through an outside company called Baby Beauty Photography. We really hesitated about doing it because we had already taken about 100 pics of our little man with my camera, I feel like a huge whale, and I'm planning on my buddy Andrea doing our newborn pics very soon. However, since we are both hospital employees at the same hospital I delivered at we got 50% off the high-rez CD with all printing rights. How could we pass it up? It was pretty crazy when the photogs came, since we had about 75 different visitors in and out along with lab draws, nurses, doctors, etc and so I wasn't even sure these would turn out. But let me just say that I BALLED MY EYES OUT watching the slideshow. I'm not posting the show here because the password has our last name in it, but if you are my friend on Facebook I posted it there. The music is enough to make me sob...and I've never been a 'happy crier', only really crying when I'm mad or sad. Well let me just say that motherhood has changed all of that and I can't stop feeling so happy and blessed it's overwhelming and tears just flow.
Anyway, more on how we are doing later and on our very eventful first night (Truman did FABULOUSLY but poor Henry is lucky he made it out alive. I thought Nate might throw him out the window after his constant whining and yipping for hours on end last night. But hey, we all lived and are doing great today while Nate is back to class!)
I present to you, Truman's first professional photography session. Just some of my favorites:) They were taken yesterday, on the day we were discharged home.
Can barely handle these two of my boys:
This one is for Great Grandma H. who made the boys their matching hats and blanket. Too hilarious!

My Mom's favorite:
And your first glimpse at his blueberry hat from Etsy. He's always been our little bloob! Getting a little cranky at this point though
